Senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain on Wednesday took a dig at the discussions about making Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar the convenor of the India Alliance. He said that even if the alliance makes him the convener, nothing will happen.
The BJP leader alleged that there is a conflict between Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Janata Dal United and both of them are at loggerheads with the Congress. There is a tussle going on between JDU and RJD in Bihar. RJD and JDU are at loggerheads with Congress. Hussain said, Nitish Kumar was given a big dream that if you leave BJP then you will be made the face of the opposition and made the Prime Minister.
There is already a lot of controversy regarding the face of the Prime Minister. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and CM Arvind Kejriwal had put forward the name of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, due to which Nitish Kumar was disappointed. Expressing confidence of victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Hussain said, PM Modi will score a hat-trick and cross the 400 mark this time.
Shahnawaz Hussain said, discussion is going on to give consolation prize i.e. the post of coordinator to Nitish Kumar. Everyone knows that the post of Prime Minister has been completely reserved for the public. Narendra Modi will remain the Prime Minister of the country as long as he wishes. This time he will hit a hat-trick and this time he will cross the 400 mark.
People of Congress and India alliance also know that it is impossible to defeat Modi. Because there is no post now. Therefore, they are asking for the post of coordinator as a consolation prize. Even if he is made the coordinator, nothing will happen. He said, now the whole atmosphere is Rammay and Modimay and this time also Modi ji will come and win. Shahnawaz Hussain said that the way the discussion started about Nitish Kumar becoming the convenor of INDIA alliance, it is clear that JDU’s pressure strategy has been successful in national politics also.
